We used Claws n paws back in July 2019. We were moving back to Nz from Oz and shipped our American Bulldog home earlier than us. He stayed with Heather for 9 weeks. He could be a handful-not good with men and had fear anxiety but Heather was great with him! We even got a new collar for Manu from Heather when we collected him. We would have definitely used Claws n paws for Manu (now passed) again without hesitation.

We have used Claws & Paws for a number of years and never had any issues our dogs always returned happy & healthy. However we have used twice with the new owners and will not be using again our last stay was for 3 weeks while we were overseas. My husband picked our dog up and he was in very poor condition you could see his spine, ribs and was not himself for quite a few days, I did phone to ask if he had been ill but was told he had been fine? Use at your own risk
Our cat and dog have both stayed here a number of times, once for a month. They have always come back in fantastic condition and obviously really enjoyed their stay.
We have taken our lab to paws and claws a number of times. With the old owners and new owners. We have found the new owners to be fantastic. Our dog loves going there as she has a mate in with her, the main reason we go to paws n claws. Keep up the good work guys.

WARNING, DO NOT USE!!!! New owners with disgusting vile attitudes. Absolutely no care for the animals they are entrusted with. My dog was seriously injured in a prolonged attack by another dog and the owners have done nothing but lie about what happened and avoid taking any responsibility whatsoever. Sad ending to many years of great care with the previous owner. *Response to owners comments* My partners review was due to a 5 star rating for the previous owner which he did not feel comfortable leaving after our horrific experience with the new owners. That they "do not know which dog caused our dogs injuries"is of extreme concern to me as dogs are clearly not being watched when they are run together. I contacted the SPCA so that they could provide the owners with education however they unfortunately don't provide attitude adjustments. The payment of half the INITIAL vet bill of nearly 500 came weeks after the fact and after I said they should be paying the whole thing. Their poor care and lack of attention is what caused injuries to my dog. Oh and as for my other dog, he come home with a bite on his nose and fleas. Slander FYI is to provide a false statement damaging a persons reputation. There is not a single word in this review that's false. The owners comments around email communication are absolute rubbish. My partner & I had to email them 4 times before they would respond and when they did it was just to deny that they were at fault and lie about what happened. Being a responsible owner I asked repeatedly to be informed of the breed of dog that attacked mine so I could be careful in case he had any trauma issues in future. The question was dodged every time and it is only now on their response to this review that they have admitted they were not watching the dogs being run. Use this place at your own risk. There's plenty of quality establishments around that will take excellent care of your pets and this is not one of them.
Our dogs enjoy staying here we have been claws n paws customers for a few years. Lovely caring owners look after them well during their stay.
Our dog has stayed there twice now and both times she has come back injured and in need of a visit to the vet. I would not recommend this place.
