Now this is the place for a natural beauty! Meandering river. Raised riverbanks. Plenty of space. Very , very picturesque. Loads and loads of people leaving their rubbish behind which is incredibly saddening. A couple of suspicious residents who appeared to have made their semi-permanent residence here, who seemed to not appreciate our presence.

Stopped for a break on our way to Dannevirke. Nice wide open spaces, clean and spacious toilets and showers. Very picturesque by the river with the cliffs overlooking/above.

Good camping area only half of the grounds are open to vechels in winter only public toilet and cold water showers avalible. Good fishing swimming ( with care ) and walking. Motor home and caravan accessible.
