Great trip and great crew. Saw a load of dolphins. Excellent service too. Have done black cats cruise before and I can confidently say that Akaroa Dolphins is a better outfit with far superior service to the black cats. We didn't expect any food or beverages but was surprised to receive beer, juice and cookies. You guys are awesome.

Another wonderful cruise. Skipper and crew so friendly and welcoming, along with Buster the dog on this trip. Great commentary, we always learn something new. The dolphins joined us, fascinating to watch them on the bow wave and this time they did extra "tricks" for us - leaping out of the water. And an extra bonus this time - an inquisitive albatross circling the boat, amazing to see such a wonderful bird so close up. Can't wait to come again!
This was a magical experience. One of the shop owners had mentioned that these guys were the best in Akaroa and so I booked a tour. While I sipped complimentary wine and ate a freshly baked cookies, I patted their dolphin finding dog Buster and learned all about the different wildlife and geological history. The Hector dolphins are truly remarkable and highly interactive with the boat. I'd book again in a heartbeat. Don't miss this tour!
Really loved the trip it was so amazing, the people on board guiding us were very friendly. When you hop aboard the boat they offer you a drink and a bit later on you get offered a baked good which was really yummy. Over all just a really great experience.
Had a wonderful time! The team were knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming including Albie, the dolphin-spotting dog. The complimentary drink was wonderful on a hot day. Saw quite a few dolphins, seals, shags, and a shy penguin. Highly recommend!
This Dolphin trip was so much more than we expected! The commentary was very informative, the dolphins were plentiful and playful, and the dolphin dog was a cute bonus. Having Natalie show us some krill was really interesting too. It's something that you always hear about but never usually get to see in real life.
