Just had THE BEST time in this store, the staff were all so friendly and helpful! I couldn't find the book I was after, an when said so to one of the ladies, a young guy overhead us and actually found it an brought it over! The man at the counter was just soooo great, so friendly again, an recommended a movie to me about the series of books I had bought, that I didn't know about. Very very good shop an staff. Fantastic. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend everyone else does too

I stood at the counter waiting to be served by the only staff member at the counter who was doing something there but was ignored. It was super awkward. I didn't know whether to say something or wait for her to tell me what's happening (she may have been helping someone else- I don't know). She slammed the bell to get someone else to serve me, she seemed very angry. He was super lovely which made the a lot second experience a lot better but for someone who rarely goes to whitcoulls I don't think I will ever go there again.
