Been here several times and it is consistently good. Whether you come for lunch, dinner or 12am. Love that it's open quite late and even when the main menu has stopped the bar menu still has a bit of everything. Can't go wrong with the calamari which is always on our order.

Been here a few times but first time I took photos. Great food , great location and the place has a vibe that stands out in the Auckland viaduct. Cant beat it. World famous mac & cheese in Auckland. We ordered the beef, the lamb racks, the whitebait fritters, the baby corns, brocollinni, fries, prawns and another 4-5 dishes that I can’t be arsed writing about. But they were all divine and every single morsel of food was finished. Awesome drink menu with a huge spread of everything. Great views and 10/10 again. Would come back when I’m in the city sometime in the next few months.

Crazy to go to one of THE best restaurants in Auckland IMHO just because SWKE (She Who Knows Everything) loves the Mac n Cheese. But she is of course right as it's a lovely place to watch the world go by and eat well frankly. We just love it and you will too

Delicious food, outstanding seafood, coupled with great service and lovely drinks. We took Grandad (95) and they were just fantastic looking after us. West Coast Whitebait, snapper, and their sensational Green Goddess salad. Generous portions delivered in no time. Outdoor table overlooking the viaduct. Lovely craft beer on tap. 5 stars!

Celebrated my brother's graduation for dinner here and had an amazing time! The food was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic enjoyed every moment of our experience here. Cant forget the wonderful service we received, our waiter and all the other staff were friendly, accommodating and made our night that much special so thankyou!! Would definitely recommend 5 stars all round!!

Since moving to Auckland more than 10 years ago I always thought of the restaurants around the viaduct as tourist traps and with the boom of great options in Ponsonby, Britomart and K Road I just never gave Soul much thought.. but I was wrong. This was my first time at Soul and I now realise why this restaurant is a classic Auckland original go-to for many people. My steak was cooked so perfectly and melted in my mouth. The tuna tartare was delicious and dessert hit the spot too.

Soul has incredible character and amazing food to back it up. The staff and their timing are perfect, service is exceptional and the venue is truly superb. Get an outdoor seat if you can because it's absolutely lovely looking out on the marina during a clear afternoon/evening.
