My partner and I stayed on New Years Eve. It is a really neat quirky place to stay. Lots of original art on the walls and the furniture is way cool. The rural setting is beautiful and very peaceful. The hosts, Fi and Muz, are very friendly and hospitable. We were on our way to Cambridge from West Auckland and stopped in on the way out of town - a great stop over on the way to somewhere else - it is only a few minutes off SH1. We love dogs and the hosts have 6 friendly dogs which we also enjoyed. We also hired a BMW EV from the hosts to try out for the day so was kind of a package deal. Was great to try out the EV and experience an electric vehicle for the day.
