Not the best experience unfortunately. Needed a key cut. Waited a very long time, only to be told that the attendant wrecked his last blade trying to cut my key. The guy assisting me left what he was doing for me several times to help new walk-ins. Service prior to this had been mediocre at best, so I won't be returning.

We needed the lock on the front door changed after a flatmate moved out. I mentioned that the door wasn’t closing well, but did not ask for it to be fixed. We were pretty shocked to see that the wall has been cut into and damaged to adjust the lock, without our consent. I would have thought the staff member would tell me what was involved and how much it would cost if he was intending to fix it. It has been nearly four months and Armstrong Avondale have not responded to any of my emails with any solutions or to explain the charges, as I have requested. The lock was changed, but I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, and the damage done to the door. UPDATE: Armstrong called to arrange for this to be fixed, and after many attempts to call back and arrange a time, it was fixed. Armstrong was very apologetic and said that the staff member should have communicated before doing other work.

I had pulled a lock apart and brought it in to see if a broken key could be removed from it. They did it on the spot with 5 mins until closing in like a minute and refused to take any cash for it. Fantastic service! Thanks for helping out. This is why I keep going to these guys time and time again.
