A lovely piece of history. Unlike other historic trains the track does not run along a road so you can see scenery you cant see another way.

Wow what an amazing place there are all kinds of things to do here. I have a large family with children aging from 2 years through to 16 there is something for everyone. With regular steam train Runnings and diesel Locos as well there is something here for everyone

Interesting content in museum areas (especially the fire fighting area) and very friendly volunteers on hand to answer questions. The steam train runs on a 3km track every 30 mins, and tickets allow you to ride as many times as you want. The ride in the old fire truck was also very popular. Very enjoyable day out, especially for the children.
