Very expensive for very basic food, was given a kids platter which was stale and the display one took it back and the waitress lied and said this is fresh. The bread was like cardboard. Service also needs to be improved

Very decent cafe with a great selection of little bites for 5, and good coffee. Highly recommended if you're visiting the museum.

Nice set up, coffee was a bit burnt but made up for in friendly & good service so I was happy. They did well under pressure it was pretty busy there on the weekend so well done to the staff there, thanks!

I went to this place on Sat. I understand they are busy in the weekend. However you guys charged 5 dollars for a small coffee but make the worst coffee I have had. I even couldn’t drink. Coffee was very watery and no milk foam no coffee oil at all. It’s like a left over coffee shot and then pull in warm milk. I just chucked away my coffee when I walked out of museum. If you guys want to serve coffee, please find someone can make coffee.

A 6 cinnamon donut... outrageous but I thought it has to be fresh and might offer a twist - the description did say vanilla. My hopes weren’t high, but in saying that at 6 I did expect fresh if literally nothing else. I think it was an old burger bun - I’d estimate a week old. Cut into a donut shape. Savoury, dry, well preserved, old bread. Yuk. And the service was painfully bored.

A place to sit either before or after your visit to the museum. Definite people watching possibilities. Selection of snacks and pastries. Coffee strong but make sure double shot. Echoey but that is the scale of the place.

We ordered a platter and bubbles prior to the NZ Opera event at the museum. The platter was generous and the bubbles delicious. They offered attentive service with a smile. What a lovely night.
