I had rung Air NZ a few times to check on my booking to go from Christchurch to Auckland and had the worst service. The first time I spoke to a person to whom English was a second language and he put the wrong email address down so that I didn't receive any e tickets. When I rang again I was put on hold for 40 minutes and so I hung up and rang much later, still to be put on hold for another 38 minutes. As I was getting nowhere I decided that the best way to get anything done was to go to the Air NZ service desk at the airport. After explaining everything to the girl at the counter she fixed the problem for me but when I asked to have the tickets printed out I was told that the printer wasn't working. For a major airline this is appalling and their systems need to be majorly overhauled.

Always use air New Zealand to go on long trips it's one of the best air companies

Clean, small but far away from the international terminal. Passangers have to carry the luggage over 1 km following the green line...
