Terrible claims process that has taken 2 months to try and resolve. Unfortunately it hasn’t been resolved and will require further action. They recommended a poor Panelbeater who failed to do the job as stipulated and then hide behind what the insurance assessor thinks. The Panelbeater was listed in their premium selection, so one would think they would do a far better repair. They have got video footage showing the incident and they cannot review it. The part to finish the repair is 90 fitted. If possible I would give AMI Insurance 0 stars, very disappointed.

Stole my money even though they admitted they owed me 400. Had to chase them for months to get it back. When they finally returned my calls after a dozen attempts to contact them used the excuse they had been trying to contact me for the past week. They called me one day on an unknown number and did not leave a msg. How are you suppose to know who it is and follow up? Tried to blame me for their terrible service. Finally got the money they owed me 7 months later. Unbelievable

The worst service I've experienced so far! I've spend over 3 hours on my phone with them discussing my quote for the contents insurance to finally get the quote doubled from what they initially offered. Every time I called I waited about 7 minutes to get my call answered. Apparently, it is OK for them to insure thousands dollars worth of old clothes, but one brand-new not really expensive specified item is a disaster... The account managers needed to consult about the item every time I called (each time having me waiting for 10 minutes) to come up with nothing but more questions, which I answered over and over again. They twice made me listen to their recorded policy for whatever reason. People I talked to were giving different responses to the same questions. Emails I sent them were not answered. Honestly, it was just terrible!!! After this nightmare, I just tried another insurance company and got my insurance in 5 minutes, no stupid questions.

Please don't buy. I had a accident in 2018 but it wasn't my fault. Other driver accept her mistake and I repair my car with ami authorities panel beater without paying anything. Still ami system penalized me for claim bonus. Ami quote price for new year insurance with 40% no claim bonus higher than new customer. Last year in 2019 ami send me higher quote but still I paid this. I call to ami customer care but they can't check in their own department and solve this issue. I don't want any insurance from ami.

Compared with other insurance companies, AMI has great claim service. super fast in windscreen claim process, got a call from claim team in 2 mins.

I paid for a years insurance but sold the car and attempted to get a credit for my new cars insurance I had to call a handful of times attempting to do this and had no result I’m still getting emails telling me my insurance is overdue as they try and make me pay for a car I sold two years ago

AMI insurance is the worst insurance I have ever dealt with. Accident happened 2 months back and my car hasn't been fixed yet. Claim has been accepted but the case officer don't follow it up. I call all them wasting my 30 to 40 mins and they talk to you very nicely but the work is not done yet. Very disappointing. Worst service ever.

Customer representative Paula, I found was very rude during our dicussion. After waiting for very delayed replies from her she argued that I was holding her up and ended the chat before my inquiry was even spoken about. Terrible customer service please be warned.
