I was surprised and thrilled to hear about the Salt Cave. I had heard so many good reports from friends who knew about it, so I tried it out. It was very relaxing as you sit quietly for 40mins. As the time went on I found myself breathing more deeply and a good relaxed out breathing. As I suffer from Asthma, it was just perfect for me. I continued to have better breathing for some days after my experience. Thank you to the Salt Cave and Maggie, for positive and friendly manner. With gratitude, Moira

Very relaxing. My wife suffers from asthma and found that after one visit, it has helped dramatically. Maggie was an excellent host - she was very helpful and knowledgeable. We'll be visiting again for sure.

Four of us had to travel down to Auckland so took the opportunity to take in the Auckland Salt Cave. The salt cave is good therapy in general and especially good for sinus, asthma and chest conditions that people are suffering. An interesting experience, we felt the good effects, got to fully relax for 40minutes and would recommend people try this. Not expensive either and we will travel down again to do this.

Does halotherapy work? I'll leave that for you to decide, what I can say is that it was a pleasant and interesting experience, the decor/atmosphere of the "cave" is nice and a session is very relaxing. The host Maggie is lovely too, be sure to have an oxygen cocktail to complete the experience.

My 8y old is asthmatic and suffers from bronchitis after every flu. We just recently discovered amazing effect of Salt Cave. After 4 days with a session per day his cough disappeared. That is the first time when his cough was gone sooner than in 3 weeks time and without any medications! I felt real burst of energy after every session. It's a great start of the day especially if it's going to be long and busy. My sleep quality after Salt Cave was so good what I didn't have literally for years. The service is excellent, just don't use online booking, simply leave a message on their phone.

When I heard about the salt cave I knew I had to try it. I have had a persistent cough for about 10 months. Jess suggested a course of 10 sessions in the salt cave and by the third session I noticed that my sinuses had cleared up. My cough has almost completely disappeared and the bonus of sitting in the salt cave is that it is very relaxing.
