I find the shuttle bus drivers a bit rude.. wish they had more manners! I stopped using the bus not only bc of this but the limited seats in the bus compared to other buses. Also dislike how the north campus shuttle bus is discontinued which would be useful for a lot of us.

Being a new student my experience so far has been quite pleasant. As a tertiary institution I am impressed with how professional the environment is, the institution is very clean, the people/staff are friendly and helpful. I've added a few tips here. WA building entrance facing road side is able to produce access cards to locked classes. If travelling from britomart, within the first 2 hrs of getting off the train, the bus fare is free. You can use this to your advantage by using the bus that goes through Anzac ave and up to the Symonds street bus stop to enter into AUT. AUTSA offer 5 free items per day (I am told) and there are a range of items from sanitary products, noodles, energy drinks etc. It opens just after 8:30AM and is located on the second storey balcony of the Plaza next to the Cafe.
