Terrible service, staff completely unfriendly, table and chairs were super dirty along settings which the staff didn't want to clean when we ask politely for it. The whole experience ruined the decent dumplings that were served. Definitely not coming back.

Great value, fast service and pretty good flavour. I have tasted more flavoursome dumplings which is why I gave it 4 stars. They are open late which is great. Barilla is an institution in Auckland so you have to try it once.

Food tastes good...dumplings & Tofu..seemed good however had an excruciating stomach ache on my way home not sure what caused it..Behind the cash counter is a very portable type of burner with a bbq gas bottle cooking dumplings...not sure if its legal!!. No itemized bill wss provided when requested ....

Beautiful food. Fresh, Vibrant, an very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I would have rated it 5stars if only the seating or tables were slightly bigger esp seating for 8 people, downstairs. But bigups to the Barilla Dumpling staff

Super tasty dumplings!!! This has been our go-to dumplings place for so many years. The 4 stars is for dumplings ONLY ... Just don't expect any customer service, though!

Disgusting Chinese woman who looks like the owner or manager when I went in there one night, she's so rude, will never come back there again. Even the old Chinese lady smiled at me to say sorry as if she knows that she's a B. Lose the attitude as you're losing customers and learn some proper English, that's why I wasn't able to understand what she meant before she told me my English was bad. I wasn't being rude either.

You always know what to expect when you go there, the dumplings are generous and they're fine. The bright flat white light is not relaxing at all, you feel kind of rushed to get out. There's never a good ambiance with that cold lighting. I guess they really want you to get out, they're not short of business anyways. Meh, it's a good as a takeaway.

Good for cheap dumplings, terrible customer service especially from the woman I am guessing who is the manager in the light blue shirt. So rude!
