Horrendous wait times for inquiries and Questions: 45 minutes and even after all that The bank refused to fix the small issue I had. Also as with most banks greedy.

Rotten service. Rang the 0800 business number for a replacement card - told I would have to wait up to 7 days. No problem I have my existing card. Went to use my existing card, then found it wouldn't work. Rang to find out why, told the old card had been cancelled and I would have to go to a branch if I wanted a temporary card. Branches are now a long way away as BNZ keep closing branches. Hopeless. Decided to wait and replacement card - it finally arrived only to find I have to go into a branch to get the new card activated. Hopeless service even to a priority customer. Clearly the bank don't want us so will look at changing to a NZ owned bank

Another bank that keeps closing it's branches leaving people no option but to use online banking. This however is useless when you have cash you want to deposit, or if you 'choose' to talk to a banker in person about account options. As convenient as it is, everyone is putting far too much faith into doing everything on line.. it's not immune to failure.

Very friendly and helpful staff! Great layout and design! Nice big screen to watch and some items to read (like The Good Report) while waiting in the queue.

This bank does not return money that has been taken from your account after thirty days. Very unprofessional from a bank.

USELESS! The staff are friendly but they take far too long to answer their phone! If you can't answer just call me back!! I don't want to be put on hold for half an hour!

I measured time when I saw the queue: 21 mins on a Friday at 2pm. 14 people waiting 3 staff working. Lots of people leave when they see no progress. Do the maths: 15 mins * 10 people this branch wastes 10 hours of people's lifetime per hour by letting them wait in their queue. Try ASB across the road. Less people, more staff, faster queue, quieter environment, friendlier service.
