As a Goan in NZ, I am delighted to have found Go Goa eatery. Nestled in beautiful Devonport, the eatery is run by the charming Doreen and her husband, Jose. The food brings Goa to Kiwi shores and reflects the love and warmth of it's people. The Goan fare is delicious and true to it's origins. The Portuguese tarts round it off beautifully. Will be back with family and friends for long chats over delicious food that feels like home.

Glarry's is awesome, such friendly service by Doreen & Jose and the food is getting better by the day. I love the Portuguese custard tarts (pastel de Nata), so reminds me of my trips to Portugal. And over the last few days chef Jose started making cakes. I was fortunate to be the first to get one of them and my compliments. We loved it and will definitely getting more on a regular basis. Do go to Clarry's, you'll love the place. Robert

Nice atmosphere.. Friendly pleasant owners who have just refurbished everything .Some of the food is made on the premises and is delicious and healthy. A very popular spot for some years now..I recommend this place which is just opposite New World in Devonport.. Keith ( Mr. John ).

A nice experience. Low-key, pleasant, friendly and family-run establishment, with excellent food and service. The usual cafe items plus interesting examples of Goan and Portuguese cuisine. Handy for post office and supermarket, and parking very easy. Recommended.
