Decided to spend the Easter Sunday here with a big group since I remember having a good first experience when we first visited. I was gonna let a few things slide but seeing the previous reviews, thought it’d be best to share my/our experience this time around. None of the other members of the group has ever been here but I advised that my previous experience here was really good before so it wouldn’t disappoint. When I made my order, I asked the staff if I needed to buy a side of fries if the portion wouldn’t be enough and they told me it would be. Anyway, when the food finally started rolling in, everyone was shocked (including me) about the portion of the food. It was nothing like what was pictured on the reviews here! The burger and fries only had a handful of fries with it and the bacon eggs and benedict barely covered the plate. I just reviewed how much we paid for the brunch as it felt the bill was excessive for what has been ordered and I found out that I was overcharged 9 - 12. Looks like I was charged 15.50 for meal that was advertised as 12.50. Unfortunately, that’s it for me with the Cox House Cafe.

Not happy with the service, waited at the counter for along time before a cleaner came to me, made a slack long back and charged me 5.5. The most expensive long black I have ever had. I queried the price as it was written 3.5 on the wall but she replied it was obsolete.
Lovely place, relaxing atmosphere. Great coffees etc. Warwick is the Manager. Awesome Guy who is charge of the Cox Cafe at the orchards and the kitchen in the main building of the orchards. Great staff members especially Crystal who makes the nicest peppermint hot chocolate. She is very good at her job. Friendly and polite. Great customer service. Before 11am in the morning coffees hot chocolates are 3.50 a cup. Awesome.
Be careful not to overpay for your food and drinks. They won't bother doing proper calculations - most likely intentionally.

Waited 30 mins for my food without service, my partner finished her meal. Tried to get staff attention on numerous occasions. Walked out with refund in hand, but hopefully serves as lesson to watch your customer every 5 mins.
