The prawns made with special sauce is most well kmown dish. Also recommend the lobster tail side. Good place for big groups.

Less crowded than once was in the pre-covid world, but this means we got a knives skills show for 2 that was just as good as any. Had a personable chef and griddle master with years of experience, and they nicely catered to our needs of having to cook things a little bit longer given my wife is pregnant. All in all, nicely presented from front to back and courteous. Had made reservations online too.

My first time at Daikoku was for a friend's birthday. We thought it would be engaging and interesting to visit a place such as Daikoku. However the experience was average, staff were friendly but found it challenging to communicate. The food was less than average, lacking flavor and taste (the chef even continued to squeeze already squeezed lemon slices on the salmon for some reason?) For the price I would have expected a better experience and fresher food.

Great Japanese teppanyaki in CBD. Good ambience in the midst of crazy roadworks.

Awesome atmosphere, the staff are friendly and the chef is talented and very funny. Thank you Wiremu and staff for making my daughter's birthday one to remember.
