An alright instructor but is not worth the price you will pay, very physical and often takes control from the passenger seat when it is unsafe, a lot of very harsh methods of teaching when it could just be explained. Sharon pulled the handbrake in the middle of the road while driving as a result of slightly exceeding the speed limit and grabbed the steering wheel of a friend to take control from the passenger seat while driving. Although she does have good results there are many other instances like this that I have heard. I would very much recommend AA Driving School over them as they have much better teaching methods. Apparently I'm not a customer although I myself and quite a few others I know did multiple lessons with you :)

Sharon is a legend in Devonport having taught thousands of kids in the area and surrounding areas how to drive safely and smartly. Her experience in this space is unparalleled. She takes a different approach to the AA which leaves weeks in between lessons and instead gets kids into a weekly cycle of lessons which entrenches the habit and builds on experience. When we went for the test, the instructor at VTNZ was visually relieved when she heard who my son's teacher and remarked how her students were above average drivers. My other teen completed defensive driving with Sharon and also fast tracked his graduation to a full licence and improved his driving skills as well. Thanks Sharon!

Today we encountered Sharon at Albany Skatepark while enjoying some family time with our kids and their scooters. Sharon decided to take the parking space next to our car, which had my sons scooter on the ground. Seeing that the scooter was unintentionally blocking the carpark, she preceeded to get out of the car, kick my son's scooter nearly under my car as I stood right next to it. She never once asked me to move the scooter (which I would ages been more than happy to do) instead she was extremely rude when I pointed out that scooter was now scratched. I cannot understand why this woman was so rude and obnoxious and her driving student was clearly uncomfortable by her actions.
