Since new year in 2017, they have changed their pricing and it has made some customers angry. But I go there only when I don't have other options. Update in 2019: I have embraced the price increase. They are best Chinese in the surrounding neighborhood. They taste really awesome

Always a favourite, and never disappointing. We love the Diamond Special chow mein and fried rice, and the sweet and sour pork is perfect every time; these three dishes are a perfect dinner for two adults and two hungry teenagers (including seconds but rarely leftovers!). Diamond is our favourite local takeaway, and the delivery option makes dinner quick and super convenient.

We were so disappointed with our food ordered from Diamond takeaways at lunch time today, but even more disappointed by their customer service. We ordered the fried rice, which was average, and the lemon fish which was completely inedible. It had an awful chemically taste to it, something I've never tasted before and couldn't work out what it was. I phoned Diamond takeaways to give this feedback and was told that because I couldn't specify exactly what was wrong, eg the fish or the sauce, they wouldn't be refunding me/offering credit. And that noone else had complained about this. I challenged her that there have been some pretty bad reviews on Google recently, but I could tell I wasn't going to get anywhere with my complaint, so left it at that. Anyway, I wanted to warn people not to get the lemon fish as it was honestly awful and I am not one to complain often, it was inedible. I am really surprised they weren't happy to reimburse me given usually this would happen. We usually go to Bamboo kitchen just down the road, but unfortunately it was closed tonight due to the New Year period. We will definitely be sticking to Bamboo Kitchen. When I was a child we used to always go to Diamond for our takeaways, and my husband used to love it. But it has definitely gone downhill, along w their customer service, which I am very sorry to see.
