Great place to record. I've known Darren for a few years as he has done the sound while running the The Clare Inn Singer Songwriter evenings where I often play. Recording and mixing is a different dynamic to playing live and it's been great working with Darren in a different way & learning what works (just me and my acoustic guitar). Darren is really patient and has good ideas and gives good honest feedback in the recording band mixing & recording process without being overbearing. He really knows his stuff on the technical side and I've really enjoyed the working relationship growing as we have been developing my work. Earwig has some cool gear...I really like the Leslie Speaker! I like the sound he brings to my recording. He is an old school analogue man...right up my Alley.

Really unique recording studio. Groovy keyboard instruments including Rhodes, Yamaha CP 80 and Hammond organ, a real reverb chamber. Darren the engineer is a lovely knowledgable guy, records everything analog. Definitely one of Auckland's musical rarities.
