Below is an excerpt of what I emailed to East Day Spa regarding a disappointing treatment. I had a spa package in early January. - During the massage, my masseuse did more of a back rub than a massage, it felt very half hearted and she hardly worked into the muscles at all despite me requesting a medium firmness. The few times she did work into the muscles, she did not do so with any balance - she would do one side and not the other. There was no rhythm to what she was doing. The other body parts massage was fine, but I requested special attention to my back so was really disappointed with this. - During the scalp massage, it was again very half hearted with just a bit of rubbing in one area, not a full scalp massage. What was quite upsetting though was multiple times, the masseuse would run her fingers through my hair and try snag out the knots. It was incredibly painful and she could surely see me wincing. This experience felt very familiar as I have been to East Day Spa before. After the treatment I told the receptionist I was not happy and asked who was my masseuse last time due to this familiarity. She confirmed I had the same masseuse previously. Last time I thought it was just a one off, that the masseuse might be having a bad day so didn't say anything, but to have this experience twice, for the amount of money being paid, I am just so disappointed. East Day Spa got back to me basically saying that if I was uncomfortable I should have said something during the treatment... well that is all well and good to say, but in the middle of trying to relax but instead being in pain and disappointed it isn't easy to do. It should never be like this in the first place. They never offered any sort of refund after spending hundreds of dollars there, and just encouraged me to come back. Why would I come back after having a bad experience twice, and feeling like the blame is being put back on me? Would not return.

I got the east retreat I was left speachless the massage is amazing I was left feeling so amazing was the first time and it was worth going. Got a nice lunch in between it all and you feel so at peace. It is pricey but it's the worth it type of pricey

I have visited easy day spa a few times for massages, and had nothing but outstanding customer service. I recently booked a couples massage - this happened to be the date we went into lockdown, upon coming out of level 3 I was not contacted to rebook my appointment I had to myself call to arrange another time. Upon arriving we sat waiting and 25 minutes after our booked time when a therapist came over to collect my partner and told me we were in separate rooms for our couples massage. The manager then came over after a further 10 minutes and said all the couples rooms were booked and was it requested a couples room? Why would I book a couples massage to be in a separate room and why was this not asked at the time I booked? We were given a free foot soak together after 40 minutes which was lovely before then being moved to separate rooms for our treatment. As a beauty therapist myself and having worked in a 5 star spa I would of expected better communication and a timely manner when you pride yourself in being a top spa. I was left disappointed by the experience especially for the cost.

Fantastic experience!!! Great service from beginning to end! Great massage, got the Mums the word package, felt very relaxed after. Will definitely be back. Shower facilities was super clean, but I could only see one shower in the female change room, so just got to wait if someone is using it \u003c--Just a FYI

Really nice ambiance and setup. The spa is spacious, staff is attentive and I thoroughly enjoyed my facial. They have a good range of products too, including Oribe which is my fav hair styling brand.

East Day Spa is heaven on earth! From the moment you set foot inside you start to relax. The place is very peaceful and zen. The staff are lovely, courteous and professional. They communicate with you before you go for your treatment which I think adds to the professionalism. The rooms are quite and free from any outside noises so you can truly switch off. The massage tables are wide and long which is great if you are taller or broader. I highly recommend East Day Spa A

What a great experience!!! Was my first time and a few of my other friends here and definitely not my last. Enjoyed every minute and moment of my time at East Day spa. All staff were very nice and accommodating especially the staff lady who looked after myself the whole time, Radna. Thank you for your service. Until next time.

My experience of my massage, and full relaxation treatment where extremely good and while being very gentle with my facial I felt very refreshed. I will certainly recommend a full treatment to all my nursing and caregiver friends who gave me this final present on my retirement after a long 37year in a nursing/caregiver situation.
