A HUGE thank you to all the team at Epsom Dental. My daughter had a terrible accident at school yesterday morning chipping both front teeth badly . I phoned Epsom Dental where the staff were so accommodating and were able to see her at 2.30 the same day and repair her teeth. SO thankful :) and my daughter is smiling again .They always do a fantastic job!!!!

I unfortunately experienced very poor communication with reception and with the Dentist I saw. Communication within the practise was not good with handling my queries and returning my calls and the Dentist did not give me the information I needed to make an informed decision regarding what steps to take regarding my wisdom teeth.

Context: I've been having scaling done last 10 years in Australia at least once a year; probably had 3 different dentists. I was told in NZ scaling is done by dental hygienist. I was like 'sure, whoever gets the job done properly'. Today's visit: Based on the uniform colour it appeared the person who was treating me was a dentist. So I was like 'ok, so maybe at some clinics it's done by dentists'. Treatment started, and from the first second I sensed I was not at expert's hands. The suction thing was constantly moved around, it was clear the person treating me was clumsy with what she's doing. Unusually painful and there was a moment where something malfunctioned and water sprayed all over my face. Things were rushed, clearly. The assistant joined halfway through. The treatment ended, I asked a couple of questions about the treatment. It turns out, they were short handed today, so the dentist was filling in for an hygienist. The thing is she doesn't use a scaling machine normally (she said she does it manually) and I'm the second person she'd used the scaling machine on. That explains why she was very clumsy throughout the treatment. It was very short treatment as well so I doubt it was don'e properly. Soon, the dentist offered to make the treatment free. I accepted. I will have my teeth checked my someone else soon, including if any damage was done. Thought about giving two starts because I wasn't charged but still giving one star considering the time wasted, unpleasant experience, and I'll need to see someone else again. My advice to the clinic: Do not offer treatment that you're not capable of providing with high quality. You're dealing with people's health, not selling some sort of gadgets that can be easily exchanged.

Last month I went to have a well overdue check up , clean and assessment. Like many people, I don't like going to the dentists nor their bills, however I had an extremely positive and professional treatment from Dr Robyn Cameron who immediately put me at ease and was really great to deal with. Further, the bill wasn't stinging at all and the staff on reception were incredibly nice and easy to deal with (not too much admin for a first time patient!). I would absolutely recommend this dental practice and Robyn Cameron.

Would give no stars. Horrible service from the entire team, especially nameless. Employees would not tell you at all if you have periodontal disease during hygiene check ups; yet they would also not clean your teeth at all or properly. They would keep persisting you to have braces. Do not go if you want to have a bad experience or if you want your money gone for no genuine apparent reason.

I've been doing my dental hygiene here for at least 3 years with Shivani and she has always been great. Eventhough we switched homes multiple times and I tried different practices, I always ended up coming back to Shivani. Shivani is very professional and polite and does a very thorough job which is definitely what you need for your dental hygiene. Also, she reminds you of everything else that you need to do at home to maintain your teeth in a better way. I've never experienced any sort of pain or discomfort while she was doing her job and at the end of every session she always asks you to check in the mirror to make sure your happy.
