Lovely, scenic & windy view of Auckland port, Skycity on left & right mission bay. Enjoy Calm waves & sound as you sit inside car or outside by embankment & soak in the view. Carefully Walk down layered rocks & freshly eaten oysters by birds near sea line. Leisurely walk to mission bay for a short stretch of beach & food across the beach

I recently organised my birthday party at Five Knots. Awesome location and stunning waterfront views. Thanks to Alicia the Event Manager who was lovely. Bad experience with snacks served. Slices of red chilli in the fritters, and nobody in their right frame of mind should serve these. Although I paid a per person rate for drinks from 6 pm for four hours, most of them arrived only after 7 or 7.30 pm. Asked Eshwar Shetty the duty manager to serve drinks after 10 pm for just ten minutes more, he said NO. Coming from hospitality, there needs to be flexibility and better customer service. When I complained, I was told they have been flexible in my negotiations about the rentals and menu adjustments. Didn’t know negotiating and menu adjustments were a reason to allow them not to offer better customer service. Will not be back if the duty manager is Eshwar Shetty. He needs to learn a lot, and not offer free drinks only to his friends.

Excellent place to hang out for a group gathering or a party. Impeccable service standards thanks to the lovely duty manager Eshwar Shetty. Mr Shetty the Bartender In-charge thought me about different types of drinks, he has a lot of knowledge about alcohol! Thanks to him I won’t be embarrassing myself when I go to some other good pub with a high class bar! This guy just doesn’t serve drinks, he serves knowledge! Learned a lot from him and enjoyed so much! The place is quite big to accomodate 70-80 people.The food was fresh and tasty! One of the best nights I had in New Zealand ! Love the location, the place and the staff!!

Hi there Alicia and David, Thanks so much for all you did for Fran’s 60th Birthday party. Everything went without a hitch! The whole organisation of the event was great, I found both of you so easy to deal with. The servers on the night (Edward and Katie?) were very friendly and helpful and pleasant. The food was so tasty and delicious and the bar was run very well. Thanks again. If I need to organise another function the Five Knots venue will be my first point of call!
