Flaxmere House is a perfect venue! We recently had our wedding there on the 6th February and Vanessa and her team were absolutely amazing throughout and looked after us superbly! We loved how relaxing and intimate it is! We took all our photos on-site and they are stunning! It is such a gorgeous setting and backdrop for photos! Everyone loved the food and we stayed the night of the wedding and had a beautiful cooked breakfast the next morning! Thank you so much again for making our wedding day so special!

We got married early December 2020. Windy but perfect temperature and made the photos look great! Sunset can be seen onsite and Bethells Beach is just an 8 minute drive away! The venue is wonderful. Great, homey, family feel which is perfect for more intimate weddings. All the guest loved it and the gorgeous views. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable too. The food is amazing. All the guests kept praising it. Great options, cooked perfectly and arrangements made for particular dietary requirements. We also stayed and had the cooked breakfast the next day. Such a great way to wrap up the event! The decorations are awesome and you can choose what you like as well as bring your own. With help from the staff too but if you want to do it yourself they are very accommodating. The manager Vanessa is great. Very organised and makes it all far less overwhelming. The staff are all so friendly and enthusiastic too! Great that it can also be used for other smaller events / B&B so should you ever want to stay again in future to reminisce your big day, that is such a cool option. Can't recommend this place enough!
Some rules I didn't like, like how there's no leeway for anything cultural. Only European style. Sad really. Nice venue tho

If you are looking for an intimate wedding venue that is something unique and special - look no further. We still have guests telling us that they would like to have a wedding like ours, and Flaxmere house was a big part of that. The food was absolutely divine, there was so much care and attention put into it - they will never let you down. If you are having a wedding we highly recommend taking the venue for a few days. Vanessa and the team were great.
If you're looking for a beautiful, relaxed , intimate yet luxurious venue.. this is the place ! Hosted my 30th Birthday last month and it was everything I could hope for. Not only it is an amazing place to celebrate but Vanessa and her team go the extra mile. I highly recommend it! it will make your dream event come true.
