Really nice pizza. The wait time was disappointing. A good friend of the owner called ahead and pre-ordered- we were told 45 minutes. Got their in 55 minutes and our pizzas hadn't been started. We had to wait an additional 40 minutes.... This is the second time I've tried Francesca's. My rating will definitely change for the better of the timing could change for the better....

Great local place to eat or take away... pop across the road to the wine shop well you wait for your food. The Italian guy works really hard and has a great character. I've been going to this place for 3 years and never been dissatisfied.

Man this solace screams authentic family owned Pizzaria !! (Italian kiwis) From the second you enter the door and get very warm welcome the owner. My partner and I absolutely Rate this place as the best pizza in Auckland ..no joke,it’s the best! We live in Parnell and we still make the troop over every time we want a pizza and we are pizza lovers. I always try “Francesca’s choice” that’s my fav or the prawn pizza is 10/10 I hope you enjoy and you make your way over there! Also the white cheese gnocchi is the best iv ever had in my life!!!! That’s a must try. Hope this helps .

Francesca's is a great pizza spot, and one of the very rare few that actually uses wood fire. Most others are a lie. The pizza is great. Made by a real italian dude, with real italian ingredients. So really good authenticity. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because the wait times are pretty ridiculous. Expect 1-2 hours wait after you've ordered. But in the meantime, have some of the freshly made desserts waiting to be eaten, or grab a pasta. It's much faster. Bring on the expansion!!

Can't go to pizza hut or dominoes after going to this place. Recommend highly. Go inside while ya wait and enjoy the atmosphere with Ciro and his chaotic kitchen . Wait times are long.. But trust me definitely worth the wait.
