Great, quick and friendly service, high quality food. They take phone orders, convenient for pick up. Can order prior to shopping at Countdown for a quick pick up afterwards. Great location.

Pretty disappointed overall. Ordered chips and chicken thighs. Chicken thighs must have been sitting there for hours, I can't even chew off the coatings. Plus, way too salty. I'm pretty heavy on salt and I can't handle these much salt. Fries were soft, not crispy at all.

I couldn't be more thrilled that Hobson Roast Fish 'n' Chips helped me out from afar. I live in California and was able to orchestrate a birthday dinner with their help, for my dad and family who live in Hobsonville. It's my favourite treat to eat when I'm back home in New Zealand. Their quality snapper and chips are always perfectly cooked and satisfying. Cheers!

This is the first time I have ordered food from Hobson fish and chips. The girl serving was happy, polite and very welcoming. We had burger chips and a hotdog for my duaghter. Everything was delicious. The burger patties actually tasted like real meat not the thin patties that taste of cardboard ive come to expect when ordering from a takeaway shop. The chips could have done with a bit longer in the fryer- but I like mine really well cooked so I should have asked for them to he left in longer - I will remember to do this next time. The only letdown was the cheesecake we ordered. I found it enedible. The cheesecake filling had a strange texture and the biscuit base was sloppy and soggy - not pleasant. In saying that we will definetly be back for the chips and burgers.

I’m glad this is our local takeaways. The burgers are always delicious! We keep coming back and I keep forgetting to take photos because I chow it down so quickly
