I was extremely disappointed with the area. Considering it was adjacent to a new development and community there was no thought or imagination put into the planning. There were also many thistle like prickles. Visiting Hastings I was taken to an amazing dog friendly area that had a stream and a fabulous agility area that was permanently a fixture for dogs. Wonderful for their training and using their brains imaginitively. These simple additions would add 100 percent to the experience.

Took our 6 month old puppy to the dog park for a run around. Good sized area for dogs to run, play and exercise in though there are quite a few holes about dug by the four legged attendees. Not a major worry and the dogs seem to avoid them but a bit of a hazard. Fully enclosed and a double gate to get in so pretty secure and there are trees offering some shade. Plenty of space to roam and poo bags were available. Some dog agility equipment would be a great addition but still nice to have somewhere to let the pup off lead. Will be back again soon.

One of the very few fully fenced dog parks in Auckland. This park is in the heart of Hobsonville Point; close to cafes, restaurants and a kidsplayground. The park itself is large and as mentioned it's fully fenced. Good opportunity for your fur baby to socialize and exercise with other dogs in a safe environment.

Nice big area for dogs to run and meet other dogs but nothing much else to play.. Wish there is some nice playground made for dogs.
