I've been training under Karl-sensei for over 2 years now and it's been a fantastic journey. There is a great focus on the minor details and building a strong foundation. Being exposed to that level of teaching, as well as attending seminars from JKA HQ intructors and participating in competitions has really helped me improve my Karate. 10/10 would recommend this for anyone looking to learn karate the proper way.

JKANZ is actively hosting seminars and tournaments around New Zealand including hosting International Instructors from JKA HQ. I would highly recommend JKANZ if you are looking for traditional JKA karate.
