Juliet is a highly experienced acting coach and it is visible in her approach towards her teaching. She has traveled the world studied the art extensively. I have done multiple terms with her and I have witnessed growth not only in my acting ability but also in my day to day communications with people around me. I am able to better express myself and connect with others, just how we connect with the coactors in the class, by finding and aligning with the truth of the moment. Then it becomes less of an intellectual undertaking and more play. I’ve had the best of times in Juliet’s class and have developed long lasting friendships. Her dedication and commitment to the art is inspiring and brings out the best in us. I can’t thank Juliet enough and highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn and improve their artistic streak! :)

Studying with Juliet Furness is the most extraordinary and invaluable experience I have ever had training as an actor. Juliet creates a highly stimulating environment and offers her insightful take on acting in a very present and real way, profoundly connecting the actors to the text and to each other. This class is the first time in years that I really "get it" and can apply the learning to performance in a transformational way that brings the work to life. Juliet's passion for the craft of acting, her joy for the play and fun of the work make the class such a delight to be part of. As a teacher, her lively sense of humour, her obvious level of care for her students and the way she tailors her approach to bring out the best in them make her a true stand out. I encourage anyone who is wanting to find a real and sustainable way to act from a place of the heart/intuition rather than the head to take these classes, you will be changed in the most wonderful way. I did a semester and a half with Juliet and I found it an incredibly illumnating and enriching experience. Juliet's methods were completey foreign to me, but my goodness she gets results. I've learned so much in even just the short time I've been in her class. If you're looking to really push yourself creatively and emotionally, I'd reccommend her class.
It was a lot of fun! :) The classes taught me some really useful acting techniques. Just by adding those small changes in my performance I was able to be in the moment during my scenes. Also, I was able to learn a lot from watching my classmates perform. Juliet would give them adjustments and it would make their performances feel more natural and enjoyable. We switched to online classes towards the end of the term and it turned out to be just as good as in class :) Thank you so much! I'll be back soon
‘An absolute pleasure working with Juliet. She properly knows all the secrets of this beautiful craft we call acting. An aspect of her teaching which I totally respect is she will force you to face the issues that are holding you back as uncomfortable as it might be so you can be the best moving forward. A lovely warm character Juliet which I’m happy to have had the pleasure of knowing. Met some wonderful characters in the group too as a bonus. She will push you where you need to be pushed! ‘
Juliet is a master of her craft! I came into the class without any expectations as I've previously taken other acting classes and each of them had been very different - I was truly impressed with Juliet's teaching methods and class structure. I felt like I learnt more acting techniques in the 8 weeks than I had ever before. The techniques are immediately applicable to whatever script you are working on, and she really pushes and challenges you which for some may feel slightly uncomfortable but trust me, your performance will be truly worth it. The quality of her students (your peers) also bring some light into the class because you will learn so much by just watching them. Thank you so much Juliet for the opportunity and I will definitely be taking future classes with you soon. :) If you want to become a better quality actor, take one of Juliet's classes now!
Teaching is fine but if you disagree she will try everything to get rid of those people. Highly Unprofessional/very poor at communication. I know of many people who left because of her attitude, second, Juliet is so unprofessional that she 'll loose her control and will tell some of her students - that certain students are in certain level because of business reasons/they don't deserve to be there.Who does that? Basically, no difference in Level 1 and 2 class-same old adjustments and at the end she 'll try to convince that the second take was better than before and if you say oh nah I think the first one was better "you are a threat to her cult" so sometimes actors just pretend oh yeah maybe she is right,not. Voice class is just a waste of money and time. Actors will hear that a lot "leave your brains out " Of-course so they can't question her. I 'll probably need two pages for this review but I 'll just leave it there. Summing up - Highly disorganized, Alright as a teacher and emotionally unstable. A teacher with an agenda towards her students. Obviously, some people have different experience -but this is mine.
Juliet is an amazing teacher! She genuinely wants to help everybody improve their acting skill and you can tell that she is very knowledgeable and passionate in what she is doing. I am definitely planning on taking another class as she is just amazing.
