I expected a lot, i tried the Nilagang bulalo the beef was hard and smells funny. Tastes horrible, it wasn't cooked like it says "marrow simmered for hours until collagen fat melts into broth" Beef was real hard to swallow, i stopped eating after 3 bites.

Excellent Filipino food! Probably the best Filipino restaurants I’ve tried in Auckland. The chicken skin chicharon is excellent and is a must-try.

ordered through ubereats many times and even visited the restaurant. Unfortunately it's not been a good experience because the foods are not what I expected, we ordered crispy pata - not crispy it's hard to chew and no flavours at all! it tasted like they fried it straight away without having to rub anything on it or even marinate it to get that nice crispy flavour, not worth the 39 price. Also ordered chicken skin that's overburnt. The beef shank soup was lacking flavour as well it's not what they described slowly cooked to absorbed the flavours.. The staff were okay. I just hope they would improve the quality of their foods..

Kalye Manila recently popped up on Zomato Gold so I thought I’d give it a go. Unfortunately my first choice of Dinuguan was unavailable (and it seems it still is unavailable). Ended up getting the Pork Sisig which ended up being really tasty. Only negative comment about Kalye is the fact that the crispy pork tends to be quite dry. However, it’s still tasty

Not my cup of tea. Wanted to try the signature Adobo, but they didn't have any so I ordered a chicken and veg dish with rice. Could not eat the chicken as it was served on the bone and with the skin on. Was really just put off and ended up eating only the rice and sauce.
