This is an inviting place to chill with friends and family especially with children in tow. Great place to be to just enjoy nature's beauty and ponder. Parking is limited though, by the library.

Multiple playground spots here, but the one with the slide and flying fox in the "sunken" ship being the best for our family. The tight but high tree fort out of an old Kauri was awesomely carved too.
What a great hidden little gem this place is
A lovely outdoor playground, where you can let your children play and moving around while you enjoy the park and its artwork installations. Just make sure that they don't wander around to the parking bays located next to it, because there's no barrier/fence to separate the two; however, the cars are usually drive very slowly and cautiously.
Awesome park and playground!
Lovely little playground in the trees. Not big but something all ages can enjoy. Especially loved the wooden climbing sculpture. Wander down the footpaths nearby for an adventure, and you will find a pirate ship to climb on, beautiful native trees, ducks and pukeko. If you are lucky you might spot a fantail in the beautiful bush by the creek. Then eat lunch at one of the picnic tables, and chill out at the library on the edge of the reserve.
My kids loved it here. Awesome big slide, fed the ducks. park was clean
