This place is amazing!! My Grandad has Alzhiemers and has been here to respite care about 6 times and all of the staff have been amazing-they are so welcoming and caring and are so empathetic towards him with his health battles. You make him feel so welcome there and he enjoys interacting with the other residents. The food is really good and when i have visited him in respite care i feel very welcomed too. Lovely company and the activities organised is fabulous! Sandra the occupation therapist is amazing also. I would go here if i ever got sick or needed respite care and would reccomend it to anyone. The residents are so friendly to. You have made my Grandad so relaxed there. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for providing me with the opportunity to be part of your 'family' at Kensington and allowing me to have dinner with my Grandad and join in the activities-i will remember all the staff for my whole life with the wonderful care they provide to my Grandad when he is in there. This place is very spiritual too and the beautiful garden brings back some lovely memories of my Grandad's tramping days-the garden is like the waitakeries with that lovely serenity, tranquility, and calmness. Kensington will always have a very special place in my heart. The staff are so effecient and offer me a juice or water when i come and see him. Staff are very caring, kind and tender. I started developing bonds with the other residents there and began forming connections with them and i thoroughly enjoyed hearing wonderful stories about there life which was very fascinating.Thank you, thank you, thank you is not enough! A credit to all the staff for there hardwork, dedication and affection to the residents!
