We have sold one boat and purchased two through Wayne Bastion of Laurie Collins and could not be more impressed. When it was time to venture into a different boat he knew it before we did and contacted us about a boat that ticked even more boxes than the last one. He was good to deal with and procedurally very safe. Committing more money to a boat was a big step. When worried that the first boat would not sell he confidently said "it will" and, he was right. He set a realistic price and established realistic expectations for us. He has a well-deserved reputation for selling boats which we have experienced first-hand. With each person who viewed the boat he reported to us and gave us feedback- it felt we were a team finding solutions to any barriers that arose for finding the right purchasers for our very much loved boat. When buying and selling he has been able to achieve; prompt times for the boats to be lifted for inspection and survey, the right people to fix issues that have been identified, ironed out berthing issues, shared his knowledge about boating destinations and much more. He has even been the post box for items that were couriered for the boat. In short he has given impeccable pre and aftersales service that made the transactions as easy as possible. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

I thought that, in this time of social media and trademe etc, I could sell my own boat without too much trouble and definately without the need for a Broker. How wrong I was!
