The best Wedding Captain ever - Mel was warm, kind, friendly and funny to deal with and made us immediately more relaxed about planning a wedding. She designed the most beautiful and 'us' ceremony and her care and attention towards us was outstanding. Everyone commented about how warm and funny her words were and she was so calm on the day, even when we a) threw last minute changes at her and b) forgot everything we had planned for the ceremony. We felt so lucky to have her as our Wedding Captain and couldn't recommend her more to other couples - 10/10, 100% the best celebrant we could have asked for. She's a total blessing and a creative genius - Mel is the reason we had such fun on the day, because we knew she had our backs. We love her!

Mel was an absolutely wonderful celebrant and really listened to what my husband and I wanted from our wedding. She delivered a light hearted, funny yet touching ceremony which is exactly what we had asked for. Jeff and I met Mel only once before our wedding day, we chatted for just over an hour. Melanie asked us to tell her about how we met, what we love about one another etc. In a week or so she had emailed a draft of our ceremony-she nailed it! How clever is she that she can build our story from such a short meeting with us is truly amazing. We wanted a casual, light, funny ceremony and this is what she delivered. On the day of the wedding she kept us calm, we both even managed to say the words without getting too flustered. We thank you so very much Mel for being a big part of our day and how lovely it was to have you with us. We would recommend Melanie for any ceremonies where you need a celebrant, she is just wonderful.
