I was so well taken care of. The emergency room staff, orderlies, lady drawing blood every morning, ladies doing my ultrasound - they were all very friendly, curtious, professional with excellent training. I was in ward 8 room 805a for a couple of days. I can't remember all the nursing staff's names, they were all very friendly, helpfull, professional and you could see how well they were trained. Thank you to all the nurses, you are all stars. Also to the first class team who did my procedure. Thank you so much. I think Middlemore is great.
Middlemore has mixed reviews from what I've read. My personal encounter with the hospital was a couple of years ago, when I had an emergency surgery. I can agree with some of the patients that certain staff and a few nurses are rude, thereby ruining it for rest of the team. However my encounter with everyone who looked after me right from the doctors to all the nurses who worked that night was amazing. They were caring and really looked after me and everyone else in the ward. It's sad that a few bad apples ruin it for the rest. I would like to say thank you to all the staff, doctors and nurses who work tirelessly everyday and still greet each patient with a simle. I've added pictures of the Hospital which are all current and update date as off September 2019, incl food outlets & car parking prices.
Thank you for doing what you do middlemore, your team is always doing their best and I'm so grateful to be in a country where we can all access healthcare at our most vulnerable. For those who didn't have the best experience, I understand and know where you're all coming from, but at the same time we should all consider how hectic ED must be for all the staff there. Thankfully, we can all do our bit to ensure that ED can operate smoothly without the added stress of having too many patients, we can now use the EMEGENCY Q APP to see the wait times at other emergency clinics nearby and the best part is, using the app you can generate your own voucher or one can be generated for you at middlemore so you won't need to pay to attend other clinics so hopefully this means wait times will be less of an issue. Lets all do our part in helping middlemore deal with the huge surge of patients so that their system will be less overwhelmed and care can be provided with the best quality to us all :)
I love our hospital. My mum went in for back surgery. And she came out fine. Without the medical experts who would be there for my mum to get better?! Thankyou so much middlemore. Thankyou xo
I'm not happy with the service tonight, because I came in with lower abdomen pain and lower back pain and have had this previously, even though the nurse saw me at 10.50pm and I'm still waiting even now it's 5.56am! I even told them that my back hurts by sitting on the hard chair but yet they didn't do anything! Seriously also I pay bills to the hospital I don't just get checked for free, as a migrant I got thousands to pay! Tbh it ain't worth it Also I reckon alot of people develop back pain and neck pain while sitting on the hard chairs!!! And why not life threatening condition is not a priority??? It should be a priority because all people are in pain and the hospital job is to relieve it or sooth it down not increase it!! As a 19yr old I'm way disappointed.
The emergency department receptionist very mean ! They are not Care patient how long wanting on the Quote !she still chatting and laughing ! Play Time for Salary ! Do not know the nurses and doctors they are really busy ? The hospital really need have a good management for improving the highly efficiently job fir Patient !
