Our high tea was pretty average and was nothing like the advertised pictures they have on the grabone website. The staff looked very busy. All the food on the high tea plate was one small size cut in half. It tasted yummy though. Half a small croissant, half of a half caramel slice, half of a half chocolate cake, Danish cut in half, scone cut in half and half again. It was cheap though so I guess you get what you pay for.

I personally have been to Monsieur Madame, once on a business-related event, and another one on a personal occasion with family. On both times, the staff members were kind and patient to our requests. The restaurant/café has a wonderful overall atmosphere. The interiors are nice and of good taste, and I have been on both lunch time and dinner. I especially enjoyed the mood lighting during dinner time. My recent visit is with my family and we tried their Five-Course European Dining experience which we had to book for. Our favourite out of the dinner was the sharing platter, the cheesy bread that came with the soup and lamb trio! They are very generous with the serving amount and we were very full at the end. Not a very big fan of the pate, but that is personal preference only. The person serving us was lovely. She was very knowledgeable with the menu and informed us right away when some food items were not available. She was very accommodating to our requests (Like taking photos, etc) as we were there for a birthday. The only thing they can possibly improve on is the timing of food as we felt we waited too long between courses and the availability of food presented on the menu. They have a wide range of food which we appreciate and food are well presented. Overall, our experience was good and we are considering returning to try their breakfast items. I believe there is room for improvement. Thank you, Monsieur Madame!

A quaint cafe in the heart of Mr Eden with absolutely delicious food - you can taste it's been homemade! I had the high tea and wow, what a super range of gastronomic delights. It's a great way of sampling lots of things in one sitting and I would highly recommend trying it out!

I went here and to be honest I read the reviews and I was expecting meals to be made more slowly and yes that was the case but I really enjoyed the food. The one waitress that was on was friendly and her hands were tied, she can't deliver to the table what the kitchen can't put out fast enough. I would go again..... if only they sorted out whatever the delay was. I would give it a 4 for the food, 4 for waitress (could have offered more drinks), and sadly a 1 for the rate at which the meals come out. Averaged out I'll give it a generous 3.

Came for a late breakfast on a Saturday and enjoyed our food, waitress and the cafe’s atmosphere but service was slooooow. Would recommend for a good meal just don’t come starving! Cafe has wifi and outdoor seating.

Anzac Monday we strolled into our village and had brunch here. Croque monsieur - the sourdough alive were very thick and the mornay sauce wasn't thick enough, so it felt very stodgy. Mushrooms on toast were tasty. It took ages to get our meal though. Around 45 minutes! If we had been told about the wait we would have chosen something from the cabinet. It wasn't that busy, so we didn't think there would be a long wait.

We had a most enjoyable 3 course dinner at the restaurant. Delicious food and friendly service. We spend a lot of time in France and love French food. Would have given 5 stars if the beef bourguignon had more red wine and the apple tartin pastry was more crispy. Highly recommend a visit. We are going back for more!
