Consistently great food & service, gets busy during the weekend & holidays. Cater to dietary requirements carefully. Would recommend anytime. Arigatō!

Beautiful food and service. The staff was awesome and patient with our 3 year old. Really interesting price for such a good meal.

Disappointed with the food quality of our dinner meal. And at 200 for 3 people. Ordered the set meal for 2, both prawns in the prawn twisters were still raw and had to send back to kitchen. Rice served were soggy. The pork katsuni cooked over a flame had too little sos so instead of eggy sos, it was a hard omelette under the katsu. The sos which came with the Agedashi taufoo was bland and tasteless. All in all, a big disappointment. Wonder if there's been a change of management cos no one looked Japanese- least of all the 2 young chefs in the kitchen.

The miso chicken bento was drenched in a pool of overly sweet sauce that did not taste like miso, I couldn't eat it. Would have been better if the sauce was on the side. Pork katsuni was much better, but the meat was fatty. Rice was clumpy and broken. Friendly service though.

This is one of my favourite places to eat in Auckland. The food is exceptionally tasty. Most of the times I've been it has been for lunch, which I would recommend because it's cheaper and you get the set menus which have more variety. The upside for dinner is that there are a few more items on the menu. Definitely something you should try at least once. Though making a booking would be highly recommend.

Very nice experience! Food was tasty! The lunch is good value, but dinner will be a bot expensive. Recommend Chicken Katsuni Zen

Great little Japanese restaurant in a quiet and relaxed area. Totally recommended for couples or small groups. Food is great and service fast and efficient.
