After spending 2 hours in the salon to get manicure and pedicure shellac done. Onr of their unprofessional staff cut my skin and she didn’t apologise. I went home and my nail colour came off and my toe’s colour was not dry so it came off as well. Not worth my time

Walked in for an appointment around lunch on Monday and they were able to accommodate me. There was a small wait but I didn’t mind as I didn’t have an appointment - glad I walked in when I did as it got busier around 12:30-1pm ish. I got a regular pedicure which cost 35. Unfortunately, my pedicure was not up to standard. She did not buff my nails at all so the pedicure looks completely rough. Also, the polish has already begun to come off on two of the toes.

The hygiene of this salon is appalling! Filthy salon and work stations. Not changing towels or gloves between clients. Painful false nail removal due to being careless and left me with a split nail, very painful. No apology given. Used a nail file meant for acrylic nails on my natural nails which caused splitting and left them with rough edges. Rushed treatment and massage. No base or top coat used causing paint to chip within minutes of leaving salon. No care or consideration to the customer or health of their nails. Not Perfection at all, will not be going back.

Have tried a few of the nail salons in Ponsonby and Perfection Nails is by far the best. Lovely Service, great quality. Shellac lasts 3- 4 weeks. I actually got a chip the day after I had a manicure on one nail and went back in and the staff fixed it for me at no charge they were wonderful. Highly recommend :)

Usually good service and happy with outcome of nails but got my toes done this time and came home to them being smudged! Disappointed as cost me 70! I can’t even go back as will be going on holiday tomorrow!

My friends and I booked an appointment 2 days in advance. When we got to the salon (on time for our booking) we had to sit and wait for at least 15minuets before being asked anything at all. We then were bounced between different workers, over the space of 2 and a half hours while the were taking walk in clients, leaving us half done each time to go serve someone else. I don’t know if this was because my group was 17-18 years old and they didn’t take us seriously or what the case was but it simply was not good enough. Would not recommend
