Polish Heritage Trust Museum is a hidden gem in East Auckland.Without the help of Google Map, I would never find this tiny but well-cared museum. This museum tells a story of Polish kids who were the victims of Stalin, accepted and cared by Kiwi, and settled in this lovely country permanently. Will come back again for sure.

Following our over 60's Trip on Thursday 21st September we would like to thank all the staff who contributed to our enjoyable visit. Many members talking about the fact they knew little of what Polish people went through during WW11 as they themselves have never experienced this. Well presented and will be remembered in time to come. Thanks Frank
Great story! Sad but uplifting.
The Polish Heritage Museum is a gem, tucked away in Howick industrial area. The displays are varied and nicely set out. Friendly and helpful staff. I had put off visiting for a very long time but having now actually hunted the venue out and looked around I will be very happy to make further visits. Interesting even for a non Pole like myself.
Small but plenty to see. A lovely little look into polish history and a key moment in NZ history. They have a lovely school program.
Enjoyed it. Nice collection and display. Will visit again.
Very carefully curated. Excellent resources.the only Polish Museum in NZ.
