hi, my name is Carroll. I just came from there today. The reason for my visit was that Bishop Pat had put out a notice to the catholic parishes around Auckland to invite people to morning tea with him. This was an opportunity not to be missed so I jumped at the chance. Thoroughly enjoyed my morning there with the Bishop (now my idea of HIGH TEA)....met a wonderful group of ladies from different parishes from around Auckland.. even one from my own parish St John the Evangelist, Otara whom I had never met before. Gosh thank God for the Bishop's invitation otherwise I may have not had the pleasure of knowing you Erin. After a delightful morning tea and a walk around the gardens I ended the visit with a rooftop view of Auckland City. Must also mention I met retired Judge Bill Mitchell...I think he was pretty well known in his days, and I'm sure he was quite influential as. This visit for my daughter and I i give a 10 out of 10...all the staff there lovely and helpful and the Bishop is a person you could gravitate to very easily. Look forward to the next invite Bishop Pat...till then have a blessed and wonderful Christmas everyone...
