This fish market is very clean, hygiene and the fishy smells are not strong, so I think this is why they can confidently open the eatery in the building. The market sells fresh fishes that basically better than those supermarkets (Countdown, New World etc.) for reasonable price or even fishes that are not available in the supermarkets.

It’s been a wonderful treat enjoying fresh seafood during lockdown and in particular, an absolute godsend finding Sandford & Sons and being able to order premium fresh fish, caught filleted and home delivered. We enjoyed our first subscription delivery of John Dory and Big Glory Bay Salmon fillets and one off order of Australian black tiger prawns. We’ve enjoyed beautiful fresh fish for dinner and lunch with easy to throw together greens and other vegetables with the convenience of home delivery! The freshness of the fish fillets and value is excellent and the ease of ordering through the website is awesome. There are also recipes and videos by celebrity chef, Anabelle Langbein, to offer some inspiration. Highly recommended with distinction!

Go here for the fresh fish on a Friday, went today,Thursday, fish still all good but no lovely ladies I normally get, instead got "Hannah", wow what a bundle of joy she was, from the eye rolls to the finger tapping on the counter she takes customer service to a new level. PS if your name is going to be printed on the receipt best to actually look like you're enjoying your job, lol

Their Website is so easy to navigate and I recieved text messages to keep me updated on the delivery. My order arrived well packed and so fresh. I couldn't have got it any fresher without catching it myself. Highly recommended

If you want variety and freshness this is the place to buy. Parking is limited on weekends and if you you plan to go there be early to get a park. Prices are good but my main reason is the quality of the fish. The whole fish shop and adjoining food hall has just been opened after a refurbishment. Great helpful staff

The Asian main in the butchery section last Monday 01/02/2021 carries a lot of attitude. Wonder how rude he would be to management and colleagues. I couldn't stand him a minute. Full on attitude. " Shop is closed, go from here". When I handed him fish for cleaning , " go back , don't come inside " . When I handed him Macrel fish for cleaning " I don't clean Macrel". Though he's right but the way he speaks will make your blood boil.

I have been getting fish from Sandford for a few months now and am so happy to have discovered them. It arrives by courier in a cool box, vacuum packed and the fish is so fresh. Good variety and really reasonable cost.
