Never want to leave when I go in there, only thing is some times they charge you whats on the sticker when its on special, happened to me today an then when I bought a game fishing rod, then tried to tell me it was only for the rod an reel combo price which I said you dont do a rod an reel combo in the game fishing stuff an then changed it to I think its a online only price, I said nah mate it clearly says all fishing gear is on sale. Got it for the proper price in the end.

I’m very happy with my new stainless still bench which I’ve purchased for work. Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!

I drove up specially to visit this store but will not be coming back again. The lady I spoke to at the Otahuhu store was very rude & was talking with her mouth full of food at the front desk. You can go to Kmart to get the exact same product for cheaper anyway!

The owner of this business are not honest. This is one of business that lost my trust. They selling all products on Trademe website. Products with good looking but bad quality. I bought stainless steel deep fried bucket only used once and rusty right away next day. After 25 years I live in NZ. I used to the good service and trust way of NZ business and this one caught me off guard. I went back to the store and ask for exchange. The Manager or owner said: “No . You already used. “ I should have reported to NZ consumer department..I think all products I found in this store are like this: Good looking with bad quality. Ripped off customers. Beware if you could.

What an amazing range of products. From camping and hunting and fishing to industrial kitchenware and literally everything in between. There are even caravans outside for sale. Must be seen to be believed. It's a bit of a mitre 10 mega meets Bunning's and torpedo seven. Well sort of.

The products in Save Barn are low in quality. This is the second time we had to come to fix things. Our first purchase was a pie warmer and it faulted when we switched it on. When they fixed it, it didn’t quite heat up as how it should. The second time we purchased a commercial hand blender which was 358. We came today to get it checked. A dude at the counter named Ali was super rude to myself and my husband. We had the blender for 3 months and used it for the same purpose and it was working fine. All of a sudden it just stopped. That dude named Ali just out of the blue said if there’s any curry inside the motor above it, the supplier would not replace it. My husband smirked at him and said how do you know if we use it for curries. I asked him if its written in the policy or if he had read the warranty book before saying this kinda of things to us before checking. He said he hasn’t read the warranty policy. I said then don’t say that and accuse and assume there will be curry or residue in there and be rude to us like we are dumb people to do such things and deliberately and intentionally spoil things. He even said to to my husband ‘tell me the truth’. Who is he to speak like that in such a tone. I insisted that a picture needs to be shown if there’s anything as such when the suppliers checks it. My trust with Save Barn has gone down tremendously especially being disrespected like that. We also bought a commercial rice cooker previously and an electric hot plate today. We have been purchasing and trusting Save Barn but today was just a disaster !!!!

Pretty dangerous place to visit if you want to keep your money. You might end up buying thing you didn't even know you needed. Staff is helpful and freindly.
