You know that cake from the movie “Matilda”, this is what the chocolate cakes from here remind me of TBH. Used to really love cakes from here, but the care towards icing and writing the words one pays extra to add is very much missing now. Very sad as this place has always been my go to. But this is the 3rd trashy cake so it’s the end for our once loving relationship. The cake is borderline dry and average. Icing flavour is it’s redemption, but then that looks.... interesting. If you’re happy with a cake that looks like your average 12 year kid made it, then this is totally the place. Like it’s not BAD bad, but it’s really not good.

I bought the Lemon Layer Cake for my son's birthday. I will not be going there again. The layers were filled with dry butter flavourless cream. The cake dry... Awful!!! Very disappointed. I had tasted the lemon cake for a friend's birthday and loved it but this cake was a huge disappointment!!
Excellent service! I am in Christchurch and I ordered a Carrot Cake last minute a day before my Dad's Birthday. He is up in Auckland and they managed to get it delivered on time for his birthday today! It was beautifully wrapped with a bow too. Thank you so much :)
I used this company for 7yrs while I was living abroad. Always delivered on time and everyone loved it. Downside will be their cakes are exactly the same from 7yrs ago, no upgrade in their options. Also, we've never received any sort of special client discount over the 7yrs we've been loyal customers. There's way more options now for cake deliveries so I won't be using them again.
I’ve ordered small, medium cakes and cupcakes for birthdays and special days like mothers and Father’s Day. I’m always very impressed with how reliable the delivery is and the recipients always say how lovey and yummy the cakes are. Thanks for always helping me out even when I need a cake the night before an event. I was sent photos and they looked like the chocolate cakes on the website (writing ribbon stars included plus cupcakes were decorated for a birthday)
Amazing! Wanted a chocolate birthday cake for our son and he/we loved it. Simple and so fresh. This is the second celebration cake we have bought (a carrot cake....yum) from this establishment and it wont be the last. So worth the drive. Thank you Send A Chocolate Cake for the fast service and yummy cake. Will see them soon for our wedding cake :) Highly recommend. Delish :)
