Awesome box!! Has a real good vibe and atmosphere. Very welcoming and friendly - very far away from intimidating! I was new to functional fitness and Andy and the guys couldn't have done more to welcome me into the box. Structured classes, great social and events, world class coaching and a MASSIVE functional space with all the equipment needed - perfect environment for all.

This is more than 'just' a Crossfit gym. The coaches & the members are one big family that has helped me with constant help, advice, ideas & encouragement go from someone that couldn't do a proper Burpee to someone that can (safely) lift over 100kg. The workouts vary every day and form a constant schedule of improvement for your body as a whole - each Crossfit session at the gym consists of 4 sections 1) Warmup - Ever varying warmups to get you warm and ready for the workout to come. 2) Strength/Practice - Once warm we focus on some Technique and Focus drills to improve our strength and movements to ensure we are all using the correct techniques and to minimise the risk of injury. 3) Conditioning - This is the "WOD" or Workout Of the Day - the main part of the session - where you put it all into practice. 4) Mobility - After all good exercise there must be some stretching - this is where we stretch out the muscles we have just used to ensure we don't hurt ourselves. Once you've done your workout - we all put our scores on the board so that you can see how well you've done (against yourself (and others I guess)) - and a record is kept so that if we do that workout again - you can make sure you beat your last score. If you're thinking about Crossfit - then come along - I'm sure you'll get a big hearty welcome on your way in - and leave feeling good on the way out (once the lactic acid retreats) Hope to see you there sometime soon.
