Bad quality food, rancid fry oil (which is too common in sunnynook - GROSS), not clean. Please cook fresh food with fresh oil and get the place squeaky clean or close and let someone that knows how to run a restaurant move in.

This place is close to Countdown. Soo,save money and buy drinks, breads and sauce etc from supermarket. The golden roast potatoes are usually nice from here @60 cents each, if you get a hot/warm one. I tried the country fried thighs and the skin almost broke my teeth. They were over cooked, cold and not coated well. The display food is usually cold and old and sits there all day. 5 dollars chips here is very minimal and won't go far. The fish is always dry and over cooked. The only positives for me about this store is the multiple free car parks, you can dine inn, there located by Countdown and a fresh produce store, there Fried rice and the fact they do smorgasbord, but get it early when it's fresh.

They do roast dinners but don't do veges to go with it , so i went elsewhere !

Had beef black bean sauce and veges and it wasn't good. The beef was not real it tasted like a sponge soaked in gravey. This is not good enough. Waste of money I'll go back to mairangi bay next time way better.

Love their chips especially when they're crisp. Service is normally quick and just down the road from us. They seem quite popular too and situated with other shops including fruit and vege as well as a Countdown so you can order and do a bit of grocery shopping then pick up your takeaways! Oh there's plenty of parking too.

Had black bean beef and never like this before, the beef was not up to my standards seems like it was spongy schnitzel. Probably not going there again.
