If I could give them zero stars I would. I used Kirsty Ng Shiu from Swayne McDonald Lawyers to be my lawyer to update my parenting agreement through the courts. Unfortunately I found her less than helpful in court and she didn’t seem to want to correct the other lawyers and the judge when they got things wrong. Then I sent her emails asking questions about the draft parenting order which went unanswered for 3 months, as to were my phone calls. When I was trying to get answers on a time sensitive matter that could see me not seeing my son for the school holidays at Christmas this year, she didn’t want to do anything, she didn’t care, and gave me attitude. When I made a complaint to her boss Devon, I heard nothing from him for 6 weeks, even though I had sent other emails asking if he had received the complaint as I was concerned he hadn’t. It wasn’t until I got hold of the accounts lady where I had to threaten making a complaint to the Law Society when I actually heard from him promising to respond to my complaint by a certain time, he finally responded a week after he had promised. They then invoiced me for work done which was excessively high considering Kristy did very little. A complaint to the Law Society will be made regarding their action or rather lack of. I found this firm extremely unprofessional, unresponsive and would never recommend them to anyone.
