Hi my partner an i bought a SsangYong ute 2015 for here on the 31 December 2019 from senior sales person Paul and when we got it that first week we notice it was showing problems and because they were closed for the new year we waited to when they opened back up we made contact with them about the problem my partner took the ute to them and all they did was change the wheels and then 6 months later we found another problem called them again went back to see them because we had paid for 3 years warranty then will we were there a mechanic guy comes and takes a look and tells a lady Tara what was wrong with it then she tell us that it doesn't come under warranty she will call the insurance to make a claim to get it fixed and we had to pay the access 250 as we did that and left the ute with them for 3 hours when we went back to pick it up she tells us that we need to take the ute back to get the other part fixed because she said they had to be 2 different claims and that we will need to pay another 250 first because they have to order the part from Korea and it will take 4 weeks when we did pay the 250 the next day we got a text saying to drop the ute to them the part it already there then my partner dropped the ute off to them last week Wednesday to get it fix and picked it up the same day and noticed the control on the steering wheel for the radio is not working he called them not long after picking the ute up and they said to him to take it back to them so he went back to them today and they check it and said there was 1 button damage and they will find out how much it will cost so we could pay. You know every time we take the ute back to the they always damage something so they can keep paying for stuff that they damage this is very unfair and just want to let people know before you buy from them shop around we are thinking of taking the to our lawyer because we are just getting ripped of big time. I bought a brand new Tivoli last year and paid closed to 30K. After a couple of month later, the car started to have Rev issue. The RPM goes up really high when the speed doesn't quite catch up to the RPM guage. You can tell that the car isn't normal and not switching the gear in time Also, it's making a weird engine pistol missing noise whilst the symptom lasts. This clearly is a mechanical issue, but the dealer is refusing to fix it and told me it's a characteristic of the vehicle. I didn't pay my 30K to drive a faulty car like this. I certainly can't recommend anyone to purchase a brand new car from a dealer like this. If they keep ignoring me, I will have to share my story in every communities I know in Auckland.
