I love coming and parking up here for a drink or a smoke and chillin just waving to some music plus u got the mountain in the backround iswell . Ive diving everywhere round there and theres no kina or paua not even a octopus.

Normally a very busy boat ramp, so lots to see, and the local restaurant does fantastic ice cream. So buy one and enjoy watching the boats coming in and going out.

Very convenient ramp to launch from, but retrieval at low tide, especially with a crosswind can be difficult as the ramp is very slippery at low tide ..

I'm not a boatie but this ramp seems very popular with trailer size boats down to jet ski's, wind surfers and even the crazy iron man swimmers doing their training.
