My grandson attended squash coaching sessions for 2 semesters in 2018. The coach was a former world champion squash player and we got our money's worth. If you're not Pakeha, the kids in these coaching sessions are openly unfriendly. They're a clicky bunch. The reason we joined the club was to learn from the best and make new friends. The latter was never going to happen. I can see why there were no other Polynesian kids at the club. The Pakeha kids in my grandson's group mixed exclusively with each other. It was clearly evident that interacting with Polynesian kids was kept to a minimum, by choice.

My favourite club in the world. I've been a member here over half of my life. I play squash here, but there's also six tennis courts, a shop, and a licensed bar where you can share a drink with friends after an evening game.
